The Restless Nervous System Playground

A free taste of Sound, Stimming & Spirit

What if working with your nervous system didn’t always mean trying to calm down, sit still, clear your mind or do it “right”?

The Restless Nervous System Playground is a free collection of experiential practices using sound, movement, expressive arts, breath, rhythm, imagination and play.

It’s also your chance to experience the kind of work we explore inside my 9-week live online program, Sound, Stimming & Spirit — Rituals for a Restless Nervous System, before deciding whether you want to join us.

There’s nothing to complete here.

This is a playground, not homework.

Start with the first experience, then follow your curiosity. Shake. Draw. Drum. Breathe. Scribble. Imagine. Listen. Repeat something you love. Skip something that doesn’t speak to you.

You don’t have to be an artist.

You don’t have to be a musician.

You don’t have to be good at meditation.

You don’t even have to be good at sitting still.

Ready to Play?

Step inside the Restless Nervous System Playground - it's completely FREE!

Inside the Playground

You’ll get a collection of guided experiences including mandala and spontaneous art-making, sound drawing, a practice for working with fear based thoughts, shaking and intuitive movement, theta drumming, mantra and mudra, sound-guided breathwork, Heart Breathing, and a Sound Lab for exploring how your own body responds to different sounds.

You’ll also receive the Restless Nervous System Playground Practice Guide so you can revisit the practices, reflect on what you discover and continue experimenting in your own way.

You might especially

love this if...

You have a busy, restless or highly sensitive nervous system.

You’ve spent years trying to think your way through everything.

Traditional meditation sometimes feels more frustrating than helpful.

You naturally rock, move, hum, tap, doodle, sing, pace, shake or make sounds.

You’re curious about expressive arts but don’t consider yourself “artistic.”

You’re exploring who you are underneath years of adapting, performing or masking.

Or you simply want more ways to meet yourself than sitting quietly and talking about what you feel.

This is a taste of something much bigger.

Inside Sound, Stimming & Spirit, we take this kind of exploration much deeper.

The Playground gives you recorded practices to experiment with on your own. The full program gives you something a recording can’t: live, responsive facilitation.

When we work together live, I’m paying attention to what emerges.

Something you draw might lead us somewhere.

A word might open a door.

A movement, sound, resistance, sensation or unexpected response might change what we do next.

We’re not simply moving through a predetermined list of exercises. We’re exploring what happens in the room, in your body and in relationship with one another.

That’s where expressive arts work can become incredibly rich.

So if you’ve been curious about Sound, Stimming & Spirit but wondering:

What would this actually feel like?

Start here. For free.

Come into the Playground and experience the work for yourself.

Meet Shannon Rose Scott

Shannon Rose Scott is an expressive arts facilitator, yoga and meditation educator, sound healing practitioner and the creator of Sound Wisdom and Sound, Stimming & Spirit.

With decades of experience spanning expressive arts, child and youth work, theatre, yoga, meditation, music and sound healing, Shannon’s work has always lived somewhere at the intersection of creativity, sound, movement and the nervous system.

After recognizing her own neurodivergence later in life, many of the practices she had been teaching and using for years began to make sense in a completely different way. Rocking. Rhythm. Repetition. Sound. Drawing. Movement. Making noise. Moving before becoming still.

Her work now brings these worlds together, creating spaces where people—especially late-realized neurodivergent women—can experiment with different ways of regulating, expressing and reconnecting with themselves without needing to perform, get it right or fit themselves into somebody else’s idea of what healing should look like.

Shannon is the founder of Sound Wisdom, a registered 300-hour advanced yoga school specializing in the Yoga of Sound, and the creator of the 9-week live experience Sound, Stimming & Spirit — Rituals for a Restless Nervous System.

The Restless Nervous System Playground is your free invitation to come experience this work for yourself.

Come as you are. Make some noise. Make some marks. See what happens.
